Nuclivision will attend the 37th Annual EANM Congress to present research on PET image denoising and explore the latest innovations in AI, novel radiotracers, and theranostics, while connecting with industry leaders and startups.
Our cofounders, Maarten Larmuseau and Tomas Brants, will be attending the 37th Annual Congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) in Hamburg, October 19-23, 2024. Our clinical advisors, Professors Roland Hustinx, Alex Maes, and Stefaan Vandenberghe, will also be joining us at the event. We’re excited to connect with nuclear medicine professionals, researchers, and industry leaders to see where the field is heading.
We’ll be presenting an ePoster titled Generalizing Deep Learning Denoising for Novel PET Radiotracers to Improve Image Quality. In this research, we tackled the challenge of enhancing image quality for clinical 89Zr-labeled radiotracers, which has been a known issue. This work was developed in collaboration with Radboud UMC, CHU de Liège, AZ Groeninge, and Ghent University. We’re eager to discuss how this approach could improve PET imaging in practice.
Beyond our own research, we’re looking forward to exploring the latest innovations in nuclear medicine. We’ll be diving into topics like the current status and clinical adoption of AI in image acquisition and protocolization, and seeing where AI is making an impact in the clinical workflow. We’re also keen to learn about novel radiotracers and advances in radiotracer production for specialized indications.
Connecting with Industry and Startups
The congress provides a great opportunity to connect with major industry players like the scanner manufacturers, and also up-and-coming startups that are pushing the boundaries of nuclear medicine. We’re especially interested in hearing how theranostics is evolving and what the newest trends in nuclear medicine are bringing to the table.
